The 2nd & last Epe Deanery Laity Council's AGM held at Catholic Church of Assumption Awoyaya, was a huge success.
To God be all the glory for His Mercy, Love and Favour.
We had a great lecture from Rev. Fr Jude Ezeh Isch., the Associate Parish priest of Regina Caeli Catholic Church Bogije, on the Theme of the day (Leading With Love, Serving With Purpose)
Focus: Charity (Caritas), Unity And Mission-Driven Service Within The Church.
We also had the honour and presence of 5 Priests

Appreciation
On behalf of our able executive and myself I want to thank all of you for coming out today for the 2nd AGM 2026.
Our dear outgone PLC Chairmen and Secretaries we appreciate your support all these years.
Our very dear Deanery Coordinators and Secretaries we thank you for your untiring support always.
We appreciate the support of our Patrons and Patroness. They are always by our side.
We sincerely thank our Baba the Dean of our dear Deanery Rt. Rev. Monsignor Gabriel Amolegbe for his fatherly role in our success as a Council.
We are indeed grateful to our beloved Chaplain Very Rev Fr Michael Etegene for his guidance, rare support and prayers.
We appreciate the Parish Priest of CCA, Awoyaya for accepting us and giving us a very serene and beautiful environment to have a deliberations. Thanks so much Padre.
We love you Rev. Fr. Jude Eze for such a great teaching and message to us all as leaders. May our Lord God Almighty bless and keep you all the days of your life through Christ our Lord Amen.
My dear and beloved DLC executives, together we have done it again and has indeed finished strong. My prayer is that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ would bless you and reward you for all your service in His vineyard in Jesus Name Amen.
The PLC and the entire community of CCA Awoyaya we appreciate your support and service. May God bless you all. Amen.
The Service Awards each and everyone of you received today is a call to continue in your selfless service to the Body of Christ, the Deanery and the Church. Please do not go back instead be that guiding light to your community as much as you can, and God would continue to bless you.
Last but not the least we thank the planning committee headed by Bro. Rowland Okey Madu and his team for putt this together. It was a great success. May God bless you and the team from Awoyaya community.
